Craig "The rate guy" Gramlich

My connection to equipment runs deep. As a kid, the shop was my playground, the breakroom my classroom. I climbed over every piece of iron I could find, breathing in the smell of oil and grease and listening to the wisdom of field crews who had spent their lives in the field. What I didn’t realize at the time was that those moments would teach me more than any textbook ever could.

Those early lessons shaped everything. I didn’t just step into this industry—I grew up in it.

I’ve spent my career in the trenches of some of the largest and most demanding equipment operations in the world, learning something most people never do:
While others studied French, German, or Spanish, I became fluent in three critical languages—Operations, Equipment, and Accounting.
